Kuantan, Pahang, July 11, 2022 – Hextar Kimia Sdn Bhd distributed “Sumbangan Zakat” on 17 July 2022 at Pondok Bestari Chendor, Kuantan aimed to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged students. During the program Hextar donated RM4,100 to the school which benefited 23 students to support in their education.
This initiative is inline with UN SDG # 4 which is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education. Donating to needy students can provide them access to education, ensuring they have the resources necessary to attend school, buy books, access technology, or pay tuition fees.
UN SDG # 1 aims to end poverty in all its forms everywhere. Education is a key factor in breaking the cycle of poverty. By supporting students who lack financial resources, we contribute to reducing poverty by empowering them with education and skills that can lead to better job opportunities in the future.
