Ampang, December 28, 2021 – Hextar Group ("Hextar") made a contribution of essential items to The Hope Branch in aid of the recently affected flood victims. These items include food, drinking water, towels, electrical appliances such as kettles, rice cookers, as well as Hextar’s own products such as sanitizers, mosquito killer and toilet rolls.
The recent heavy rainfall has caused devastating floods that has impacted many Malaysians. The floods have tragically driven many out of their homes, destroying furniture, submerging cars and leaving many stranded and helpless during these times.
The Hope Branch was initially established to raise funds and help those affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic, nevertheless this NGO is also currently helping out with the flood victims, predominantly involved with search & rescue missions and food distribution.
Besides donating to The Hope Branch, Hextar Group CEO, Dato’ Eddie Ong, has also stepped in and provided a personal donation to Hextar employees whom were impacted by the floods.
